Meet Consul Thassanee Wanick
A diplomat, teacher, and an environmentalist, Consul Wanick has appeared and been interviewed by more than 14 television channels, major newspapers and magazines including The Miami Herald and the BBC.
Consul Wanick has been the Consul of Thailand for Sao Paulo and Southern Brazil since 1994. She was the recipient of the title of Knight Officer of The Most Noble Order of the Crown for meritorious services to the country and the people of Thailand, given by His Majesty King Bhumibol of Thailand.
Holding a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Studies and Resource Management from The University of Pennsylvania, she specializes in Sustainable Development and is the Founder and Honorary President of the Green Building Council Brazil promoting
sustainable use of resources.
