Thai interior design and decor featured at the recent Casa Cor exhibition
The biggest interior design and furnishing exhibition in Brazil, Casa Cor is a traveling roadshow that has been touring the continent since 1987. Mock-up room interiors, buildings and exhibition stands include all that is new and trendy in the field of home furnishing and decoration. The exposition attracts leadings designers from all around Latin America to exchange ideas and show off their latest creations.
For the 2006 Casa Cor event, Thailand was chosen as the central theme, highlighting the increasing interest in Thai design and décor. The featured designs, from the continent’s leading artists and interior decorators, spanned everything from traditional Thai design to the latest fashions now appearing in the trendiest shops of Bangkok. The Royal Thai Consulate in Sao Paulo took part in the event, building elegant Thai pagoda which featured graceful contemporary and traditional time-honored Thai furnishings.
